Campus Rep

Liz Wessel describes how early student ventures led her to co-found WayUp after working at Google. She shares practical advice for students on choosing internships and jobs, writing concise and specific cold emails, and preparing for interviews with her REAF framework: research, enthusiasm, ask questions, and follow-up. She explains how WayUp combines job listings, candidate profiles, and career advice, and discusses hiring, managing a team, and focusing a startup. She closes by encouraging students to try different work early and choose jobs that suit their interests and help them grow.
