Female Founders Conference

Domonique Fines describes how she built an events career by following her interests, learning on the job, and creating opportunities without a fixed career plan. At YC, she runs events and outreach that introduce students and community role models to startups and the tech industry, emphasizing that people do not need a traditional technical background to participate. Cadran Cowansage discusses how YC shaped her habit of identifying problems and taking responsibility for addressing them. They also talk about recognizing accomplishments, avoiding burnout, and starting before fear or doubt takes over.
