A Proven 3-File System to Vibe Code Production Apps

Ryan Carson, Peter

Ryan Carson presents a three-file workflow for building production features with AI coding agents: create a detailed PRD, turn it into reviewed parent tasks and atomic subtasks, then process one subtask at a time with tests and commits. He demonstrates the workflow using Amp and a relationship-assessment feature for Untangle, his divorce-support app, and recommends reviewing plans, testing throughout development, and previewing UI early. Carson also discusses learning to code with AI, choosing painful problems for startups, and the tradeoffs of solo bootstrapping versus building a large venture-funded company.
