Yup

Jared Palmer explains why forms are difficult to manage in React Native: developers must wire up state, validation, errors, and submission logic themselves. He traces Formik’s origins to his preference for keeping form state local and ephemeral, then demonstrates how a custom hook can manage values, change handlers, and submission. He introduces Formik Native, including focus management and field hooks, and shows how Formik works with React Native Paper and Yup. He closes with lessons from building Formik: focus on common use cases, keep APIs consistent, and share useful tools through open source.
