DoorDash logistics software

DoorDash presents its restaurant delivery service, which provides restaurants with drivers and manages deliveries directly. The founders argue that menu aggregators such as Seamless and Grubhub do not solve delivery in areas where restaurants lack their own delivery service. They describe a system that sends orders to restaurant iPads and logistics software that helps drivers join the network, citing more than 3,500 deliveries and average delivery times of 44 minutes. They frame DoorDash’s suburban delivery network and software as a foundation for on-demand local deliveries beyond food.
