Giovanni Laquidara

Giovanni Laquidara and the host discuss Amazon's Vega OS, a new operating system with React Native built in, and its development tools. Laquidara says Vega OS had been in development for more than three years before becoming public a week before the interview. He describes its lightweight design as a way to improve app performance on low-end devices, while letting developers build with React Native skills they already have. They also talk about React Native community events and the React Conf talks and announcements.
